Crete, Step 1 Preparing the Surface
The surface must be free of all contaminates including dirt, grease, and oil. Before applying primer, the surface should be treated to have a profile similar to 100 grit sandpaper. Refer to Texture Crete specificaitons for complete application dirrections.

Crete, Step 2 Apply the Primer
Prime surface with LD-81 mixed with four parts of water or Life Deck 25 epoxy mixed with one gallon water. |

Crete, Step 3 Apply the Slurry Coat. Apply
the slurry coat combining LD-1 cement and LD-81 modifier.
Color Wash, Step 3 Apply the Slurry Coat as a grout color. LD-5 for natural grey, or pigment LD-5 or LD-2 cements.

Crete, Step 4 Apply Texture Coat. Apply texture coat with hopper combing LD-3 cement and LD-81 modifier.
Color Wash, Step 4 Apply pattern and then apply pigmented or colored Texture Coat Using LD-2 cement.

Crete, Step 5 Finish Coat Apply two thin coats of Life Acrylic Concrete Masonry Color Seal (10 Series) or 28 Series Heat Reflective Coating.
Color Wash, Step 5 Mix color wash powder with water (see specification sheet) and pour on mixture then push around with a broom to add natural highlights to the texture finish.

| Color Wash Step 6 At this point, individual "stones" or borders may be accented with Life Deck 20 Series Concrete Stain or Color Wash Powder mixed with water. Use a brush to accent during this step.

| Color Wash, Step 7 Seal
Apply recommended Life Deck Clear Sealer to Color Wash.
